We want you to get to know the Team here at Goodman Masson a bit more. To kick off this new series we’re introducing Cheyne Cole, one of our Consultants on the Solution Team. Scroll down to see her background career tips, who she would invite to a dinner party and more!

Background

I work within the Solutions Team where we work hard at providing our clients with innovative, fast paced and technology led recruitment solutions. I focus on the junior side of the temp or perm working roles under £50k or up to £250p/d from accounts assistants, personal assistants, administrators, marketing assistants and HR Managers.

Why do I do what I do?

I enjoy interacting with clients and changing their view on recruitment to being one of openness and speed. But what I love is helping candidates to secure a new role or gaining employment after a huge gap!

What’s the best thing you’ve learnt in your career?

You need to work hard and work smart! The two go hand in hand and the smart part only works with application on top, as discipline is not fun but it is effective!

Tell us an interesting stat since working at GM…

I once made 12 placements in one week which was for me was, 12 happy clients and 12 people with new jobs – worth a celebration!

What advice would you give someone who’s just starting out?

Embrace learning and change and always keep your eyes open as this career is a marathon, not a sprint.

Who would you invite to a dinner party?

Michelle Obama and T.D. Jakes.
